Slings for use with Patient Lifters or Hoists

Most people when they hire a patient lifter or hoist will use their own sling. However when someone needs to hire a sling with a patient lifter or hoist we can often accommodate this.

We do have some slings for some patient lifters or hoists, however we do not carry every type and size, so it maybe necessary to purchase a sling when hiring a patient lifter or hoist to ensure that you have the correct sling type to suit your needs.

When hiring a sling, it is important to advise our staff to the exact needs for your patient lifter or hoist hire as we can only advise the equipment function.

Unfortunately we cannot show you how to use the equipment therapeutically or advise what is most suitable for your specific clinical needs. A qualified OT or Physio would provide an assessment with recommendations for the patient lifter or hoist type required along with the correct type and size sling. With this information we can more closely help to meet your needs.
