How it works

Simple, supported equipment trials

We make it easy to trial equipment in the way that best suits you — at home or in our showroom, with as much guidance as you need.

  1. 1

    Choose your trial type

Select an in-home trial or a showroom trial. Tell us a little about your goals, your environment, and who will be attending.

  2. 2

    We schedule and prepare

Our team confirms your booking, prepares the equipment, and arranges delivery or your appointment time. We’ll work around your supports where possible.

  3. 3

    Trial your equipment

Try the equipment, ask questions, and explore adjustments. We focus on comfort, and safety, — with no pressure and no obligation.

Why choose us

Clear, obligation-free process

Our role is to support good decisions. Trials are obligation-free and focused on suitability, not sales.

Realistic, practical information

We look at access, transfers, transport, carers and the home environment so the equipment works in everyday life, not just on paper.

Questions

Equipment Trial FAQs

If you’re planning a trial for yourself, a family member or a participant, these answers cover the most common questions we receive.

  • How much does a trial cost? +
Trials themselves are generally free of charge. Delivery fees may apply for home trials in certain circumstances depending on your location and the type of equipment being trialled. We’ll confirm any costs with you before booking.
  • How long does a home trial usually take? +
Most home trials take a minimum of 1 hour. More complex equipment, or multiple items in one visit, may take a little longer so we can make adjustments and answer questions properly.
  • Do I need my therapist or support coordinator there? +
A therapist or support coordinator is always welcome, and depending on your funding type, may be required to be present for their reporting purposes.
  • What areas do you service for home trials? +
We primarily service Greater Brisbane, Logan, Redlands, Ipswich, Caboolture and the Gold Coast. If you’re outside these areas, contact us and we’ll advise what’s possible.
  • Can I trial more than one item in the same booking? +
Yes. If you are comparing options (for example different sizes of wheelchair or different hoist options), we can usually prepare or bring multiple items so you can compare them during the same trial.
  • Are the trials really obligation-free? +
Yes. The purpose of the trial is to check safety, and comfort and to ensure an item is going to work for you. You’re not locked into a decision on the day.
  • What if I’m not sure which equipment I need? +
That’s very common. Tell us about your goals, current challenges and environment, and we’ll suggest equipment options to trial. Where possible, we’ll also work with your therapist’s recommendations and existing reports.
