The Sterling S800 by Scoozy is a modern, high-performance mobility scooter designed for users who want something different from a traditional scooter. Combining bike-style handlebars, large pneumatic wheels, advanced suspension and a long-range lithium battery, the S800 delivers excellent comfort and stability for both everyday community access and more adventurous outdoor use.

Modern Bike-Style Controls

One of the most distinctive features of the S800 is its bike-style handlebar control system, providing a natural and intuitive alternative to the conventional delta tiller found on most mobility scooters.

The controls include:

• Thumb-operated throttle
• Hand-operated emergency brake
• Cruise control
• Full-colour LCD display
• Adjustable speed settings
• Horn
• Indicators
• Lighting controls
• NFC locking technology
• USB charging port

The LCD display provides useful information including battery level, speed, trip distance, estimated range and average or maximum speed. NFC technology allows the scooter to be unlocked using an NFC tag, with password access also available.

Long-Range Lithium Battery

The Sterling S800 is powered by a 24V 70Ah lithium-ion battery, providing a maximum tested travel range of up to 50 km.

Unlike many conventional mobility scooters, the battery is positioned underneath the footplate. This helps create a spacious, open footwell with plenty of legroom while contributing to a comfortable and ergonomic seating position.

The full-colour display provides a clear indication of remaining battery capacity, making it easier to keep track of available range while travelling.

Large Wheels and Advanced Suspension

Four large 18-inch pneumatic tyres and an advanced suspension system help the S800 provide a smooth, stable ride over uneven surfaces.

The larger wheels improve traction and help absorb bumps and surface irregularities, making the S800 particularly well suited to users who regularly travel beyond smooth indoor or shopping centre surfaces.

The S800 can negotiate obstacles of up to 100 mm and has a rated slope of 10°, providing excellent capability for an outdoor mobility scooter.

Comfortable, Adjustable Seating

The S800 features a generously proportioned ergonomic seat with supportive cushioning and a range of adjustments to help achieve a comfortable driving position.

The seating system includes:

• 508 mm seat width
• 430 mm seat depth
• Adjustable seat height
• Fore and aft seat adjustment
• Adjustable backrest angle
• Adjustable armrests
• Supportive backrest
• Spacious open footwell

The wide range of adjustment allows the scooter to be configured around the individual user rather than requiring the user to adapt to a fixed seating position.

Integrated Braking and Lighting

The S800 uses a combination of automatic regenerative braking and an automatic parking brake. Releasing the throttle progressively slows the scooter to a stop before the parking brake automatically engages.

A separate hand brake provides an additional emergency braking option.

For improved visibility, the S800 is fitted with LED lighting including:

• Front lighting and daytime running lights
• Rear lights
• Direction indicators
• High-visibility rear brake lights

The indicators automatically cancel after approximately 10 seconds if they are not manually switched off.

Designed for Everyday Practicality

Despite its distinctive appearance, the S800 has been designed with practical everyday use in mind.

Accessory mounting points allow a range of useful accessories to be added, including:

• Detachable KLICKfix basket
• Rear-view mirror
• RAM phone mount
• KLICKfix adaptor for compatible third-party accessories

The backrest and steering column can also be folded down to reduce the overall height for storage or transport.
